At The Children of Daniel (TCOD), every child we reach is a reminder of why this mission matters. Today, September, 2025, with full hearts, we are proud to share a milestone that fills us with hope: four out-of-school children from underserved communities have returned to school some after more than two long years.
For many, this might seem like a small number.
But for us and for these children it is everything.
These are children who once spent their school hours on the streets, carrying loads, selling small items, or simply wandering because they had no classroom to sit in. They had dreams they could barely name, and futures clouded by circumstances far beyond their control.
And then… something changed!.
Our mission partners met these children on the streets during school hours.
Through conversations with their families, community leaders, and local teachers, we uncovered the same story in different forms:
“financial hardship, loss, and lack of support” had pushed them out of school.
But thanks to your belief in our mission and the tireless work of our volunteers we were able to step in.
These same children now walk through school gates with bright eyes, wearing uniforms, carrying books, and rediscovering the joy of learning.
This is not just enrollment.
This is restoration.
This is dignity returned.
This is hope rekindled.
